2009 H1N1 Influenza Update:   In response to the growing number of H1N1 flu cases, the health department has increased its disease surveillance and is working closely with the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services.  At this time the public is encouraged to protect themselves by following proven disease prevention methods by covering your cough, washing your hands thoroughly and frequently, staying home if you are sick and avoiding contact with ill persons.  For more information see the H1N1 Flu Information & Updates page of our web site.
