Recently there was a voluntary H1N1 vaccine recall. The recall was not due to safety, but due to the potency being below a specified range. For more details click here. The H1N1 vaccine is now available to the general public. It can be found in physicians' offices (call and check with your physician for availability), free public H1N1 clinics held by the health department, and public H1N1 clinics held by contractors (charge for administration). If you are unable to receive the vaccine from your primary care physician, the health department will offer public flu clinics. For more information see the H1N1 Flu Information & Updates page of our web site. Frequently Asked Questions. If you have a question you would like to ask us send your email to: h1n1questions@colecounty.org |
