What is considered a code or nuisance violation?
Conditions may include but are not limited to the following :
- Presence of rubbish and trash, lumber, bricks, tin and steel.
- Parts of derelict motorcycles, vehicles, construction equipment, campers, trailers, and mobile homes.
- Derelict appliances, and or broken furniture
- Overgrown or noxious weeds, which may endanger public safety or which are unhealthy or unsafe, and therefore declared to be a public nuisance.

- A request for investigation form may be completed, picked up, mailed or faxed during normal business hours, or you can click below to download a form.

- This form is considered Public Record and if requested may be released in accordance with Missouri's "Sunshine Law" RSMO Chapter 610. If you do not wish your information released--check the anonymous box and do not complete name, address, or phone as this form will be released in its entirety if requested. If you choose to remain anonymous you will not be contacted with investigation results but you may call with the property address to find status of the investigation.

How soon will my complaint be handled?
- Usually within 5 business days from receipt of the request, a Code Enforcement Officer will take a look at the possible violation. You will then be notified by the Code Enforcement Officer if there is a violation and what steps will be taken to resolve the violation if one exist if the complaint was not made anonymously.
