Where can I obtain a permit application?
- Permit applications can be picked up from our office during normal business hours
OR
- If you are making an application for an On-Site Sewage Disposal System or repair of an existing system you will need to download and fill out the two following documents (PDF format):

What is the cost ?
A permit Fee of $100.00 will apply at the time the permit is turned in. We cannot accept any incomplete applications

How quick are they approved?
Usually within 5 working days of submission, by either approving & issuing a permit, issuing a permit with necessary modifications for compliance, or rejecting permit.
How long is a permit good for?
All permits shall be valid for six months after date of issuance. Expiration dates are recorded on each permit. Permits may be renewed for a period of ninety days.

What is a Soil Morphology test?
A soil test is required for all systems being installed. Percolation tests are no longer accepted as they are not as accurate as soil evaluations Lagoon and or septic systems are under this rule.

Who can do the Soil Evaluations ?
Only a certified soil scientist can perform this these evaluations.

Who can install my system?
